Achieving this rank is no simple task as the Master Electricians application process can take up to 12 months of self-assessed work. Electricians need to consistently prove themselves to the board and achieve 60 points across 6 different modules.

Some of the requirements needed to receive accreditation include:

• Having a good credit history
• Consistent use of a recognised safety system
• Maintaining staff licenses
• Proof of staff assessments
• Attendance at training courses
• Participation in industry events
